How can I pin a Wine program to the KDE taskbar?

I've recently switched to Linux and set up CachyOS with KDE Plasma. Most of the software I use has great Linux alternatives, but I'm really missing Minesweeper! Thankfully, I found that Minesweeper Arbiter from Windows runs perfectly with Wine. I just right-click on the .exe file in Dolphin and choose "Open with Wine Windows Program Loader" to launch it. The tricky part is that I want to pin this program to the taskbar or add it to the application menu, but I can't figure out how to do that. If anyone has suggestions, I'd appreciate it!

You might need to create a launcher in the application menu using the Wine command. There's a menu editor in Plasma that'll help with this setup. Just set up the command to run your .exe file and you'll be able to pin that launcher to the taskbar!

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction! I actually figured it out on my own, but it did involve creating a launcher in the menu and it took me a bit to get there, haha.

Once your program is open, just right-click its icon in the taskbar and select "Pin to taskbar". That should do the trick! No need for any extra steps after that.

The KDE Menu Editor is fantastic! I don't know how users on other distros manage without it. It's super easy to add shortcuts for programs running under Wine. Just make sure to set it up correctly and you’re golden!
