I'm trying to regain access to an old Apple Account. I know the account email address, password, and credit card details connected to it, but signing in on my MacBook requires a two-factor verification code sent to a phone number I no longer have. I also don't have another trusted Apple device. I started account recovery and provided a new phone number, but Apple said it would send recovery information to my old @icloud.com address, which I can't access because I'm locked out of the account. What is the proper way to complete recovery without access to the old phone number, a trusted device, or the iCloud email?

If you entered a current phone number during account recovery, you may still be able to regain access. The process is automated and can take quite a while. After the initial review period—sometimes up to 72 hours—check Apple’s account recovery page again for the next estimated date and instructions. When the waiting period ends, you may be able to finish the reset directly on that page instead of waiting for a text message. Be careful not to sign in or restart the process in a way that cancels recovery, since that could make you begin again.
Apple Support generally can’t bypass two-factor authentication or manually shorten the account-recovery wait. You can still contact official Apple Support to confirm that the recovery request is active and that the replacement phone number was entered correctly, but the automated recovery process is usually the only route when the trusted number and devices are unavailable.
