I'm trying to free up some space on my SSD but I'm feeling a bit anxious about it. I've already deleted temporary files, but I've heard that some people suggest wiping out everything in the appdata folder, which I'm unsure about. Also, I moved the Program Files (x86) to my HDD, which saved me about 40 GB, but I still got that space back right after deleting old files. If anyone has ideas or tips on how to manage this better, I'd really appreciate the guidance!

Moving your Program Files might not be the best idea without uninstalling first. It can break your installed apps. Also, deleting everything in the appdata folder can remove your personal app settings, save files, and other important data. Instead, try using a tool like WinDirStat to see where your SSD space is going. By the way, how big is your SSD?
I haven't used WinDirStat before, but I guess it could help me identify the problem.
I wouldn't recommend deleting anything related to Windows. It's often safer to remove personal files or any unused apps. Just out of curiosity, how are you managing the filling SSD?
My SSD just keeps filling up; I need help before I run out of space!
For cleaning programs, I use Revo Uninstaller for a thorough job, along with registry clean-up tools. Knowing what you can safely delete is key!
Anything important should definitely be backed up. Try a free Google Drive account or other backup services. If things go south, reinstalling Windows and redownloading your software can be a lifesaver, especially if you have your important files saved elsewhere—it's just a bit of hassle to set things up again.
It's about 220 GB. I've noticed my SSD fills up pretty fast too. It dropped from 10GB free to 8GB in a matter of minutes!
