I'm looking for help with my Wi-Fi connection. I recently got a mid-tier gaming tower PC, and I'm experiencing the same internet speed fluctuations I had with my old laptop. Sometimes my PC won't even connect to the Wi-Fi, and other times it works fine, but I often see huge variations in speeds without any clear pattern. The router is centrally located in my apartment, and the signal strength is strong on my network interface card (NIC). I've confirmed that all the parts in the PC are new and can't be updated, and the built-in troubleshooter finds no problems. Other devices in my apartment connect without any issues. Any suggestions for stabilizing my connection?

You could also check for any interference in your apartment; things like microwaves or certain wireless devices can cause issues. Plus, sometimes simply restarting your router can help solve these kinds of problems. It’s worth a shot!
Have you checked if your drivers are really up to date? Sometimes manufacturers have newer versions available that might not automatically install. It might help to reinstall the latest drivers manually just to be sure.
If your motherboard is an Asus, I've found their Wi-Fi can be pretty unreliable. However, since you mentioned it's an MSI motherboard, you might want to try getting a USB Wi-Fi adapter to see if that helps with your connection issues.

I did download them directly from the manufacturer and reinstalled, but it didn't change anything.
