Hey everyone! I'm a rising junior studying Computer Science, but I don't really have much coding experience outside of my classes. I've been trying to follow YouTube tutorials to create my first project, but I keep running into errors in the code, and it feels like I'm just wasting hours copying things without understanding them. I have a few project ideas in mind, and I'm eager to get started, but I need some advice on the best approach to building a project. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

It sounds like you might be struggling with the basics. What languages are you using for your projects? Understanding the fundamental concepts can really help you troubleshoot better in the long run!
I'm working with Java and Python. I feel okay in class, but these tutorials seem to throw random errors that we never covered. If it's web development, I'm totally lost with the languages they use!
