I've been having an annoying issue with my AirPods lately. Whenever I pick them up or if they get moved, they start beeping for about a minute. This happens even when they're in the case, and particularly after they haven't been touched for a long time. Initially, I thought it might be a bug, but I found out it's a feature. I really want to turn it off because it's frustrating! Is there any way to stop it?

I totally get your frustration! I had the same issue with my AirPods, and I found that just letting them charge for around 24 hours seemed to fix the beeping. I bought mine directly from Apple, so I know they're the real deal.
It might be linked to a feature that ensures your AirPods are operating well, like playing a chime when in the charging case. This might be a bug causing it to beep outside of the case too. Check out this article for more details: https://support.apple.com/en-gb/guide/airpods/devd9aac5b42/web.
This happens inside the case so maybe it’s just that, but it always beeps when I pick it up after a while. Thanks, maybe it just can’t be disabled!
Okay yeah I'll try that, thank you!
