How can I stop my laptop from using the integrated GPU for gaming?

I've got an Acer Nitro 5 laptop with an integrated GPU (iGPU) in my CPU, and it's really frustrating me! Every time I try to play games, it keeps defaulting to the iGPU instead of using my dedicated GPU. I have to manually select the GPU for each game, and sometimes the option isn't even available. I can't disable the iGPU through the BIOS settings because my laptop model doesn't support it. What can I do to fix this?

What dedicated GPU do you have? It's important to know because the settings might vary based on the hardware.
