I'm using a Mac Mini in a house where most of the devices are Apple computers. For years, it's been repeatedly asking me to log into my mother's Apple ID to use FaceTime. The only options I get are to cancel, which just brings the prompt back in a few days, or sign in to her account. What I really want is an option to select "Never" so that I don't have to deal with this at all. How can I prevent my Mac from asking me to use FaceTime?

Have you thought about doing a clean install of the operating system? It could clear out any previous account settings that are causing the FaceTime messages.
Make sure you’re logged into your own Apple account on the Mac. For a fresh start, log out completely from any other accounts first.

Check to see if your Mac is logged in to your mother's account anywhere. Sometimes, it might be connected to her Apple ID in the system preferences.

Try going into the FaceTime settings and signing out of your mother’s account if you’re still logged in there. That might stop the prompts entirely.
Since it’s a new Mac Mini, I installed the OS right away, so that shouldn't be the issue.
