I'm in urgent need of some help! I'm not very tech-savvy and just found out that my old iPad has been syncing with my brother's phone via iCloud. There are some things on that iPad that I really don't want to come up again—nothing illegal, just some really embarrassing stuff that I thought was private. I'm worried about it since my family isn't aware of it. If I break the iPad, will that stop the syncing? Sorry if I'm not explaining this well, but I really need advice!

Another option is to try removing the iCloud account from the iPad entirely. You could then create a new account just for that iPad. It’s an easy fix!
You can’t access the device? No worries! Just log in to iCloud.com from another device using the Apple ID linked to the iPad. Once you're logged in, check what data is stored there and remove anything you don’t want synced. This should help with your privacy concerns!
That sounds like a good plan! Just be careful when managing the account, though. Double-check that you're only deleting what you want.

Seems like a solid idea, but I can’t even turn the iPad on right now. Any other suggestions?
