I'm struggling to find a new job because every listing I see demands specific tech stack experience, like AWS, Docker, or Kubernetes, along with years of experience in those technologies. Currently, I'm working with C# and Angular in Brazil, but jobs in this stack are pretty rare. I ended up in this role after facing challenges getting a position with Java or Node, which seem to dominate the local market. I enjoy C# and Angular, but I feel like my career is stagnating since my company isn't adopting modern technologies. I'm actively job hunting but feel stuck in a cycle where I need experience in new stacks to get hired, yet I can't get that experience without being hired in the first place. What can I do to break this cycle?

It's important to apply even if you don't meet every single job requirement. Many companies list out a 'wish list' of skills, but they may still consider strong candidates who have related experience in similar stacks.
Also, try to gain knowledge on related technologies; often, it's easier to pick up a new stack if you've already worked with something similar. Don't forget to keep learning on your own or through courses—getting familiar with technologies like Kubernetes can really help!
One way to gain experience is to create your own projects. Working on personal or freelance projects can give you hands-on exposure with the technologies you want to learn, and you can showcase these on your resume.
Remember, experience with a specific stack can sometimes be less critical than your overall skills. Many recruiters value transferable skills, and if you're good at problem-solving and learning, they may be willing to overlook that one particular stack experience.
Don't overlook the value of side projects! If you have some spare time, doing freelance gigs or contributing to open-source projects can be a practical way to work with those newer stacks and gain some professional-like experience.
