How can I turn off those annoying voice chat quirks?

I've been using the voice chat feature every day, but recently, I've noticed that the voice has started to include strange elements like quick chuckles, weird breathing patterns, and filler words like 'uhs' and 'ums'. This really disrupts the flow of conversation, especially when discussing serious or technical topics. Although I can command it to stop using filler words and laughing, the commands don't seem to work as effectively as before. Plus, these human-like features often pop up at awkward moments. Can anyone help me figure out how to disable these features? Thanks a lot!

You might also want to check your AuthorPrivacy settings. There should be an option to toggle off the humanizer feature, which usually helps eliminate those annoying filler sounds and laughs.

Honestly, this is what happens when they rush to imitate other AIs, and it ends up feeling really glitchy. Just the other day, I noticed the same thing and it’s super frustrating!

Right? I can’t stand it either, these changes are killing the vibe.

To turn off those quirks, head to your account icon, then go to CustomizeChatGPT, scroll to Advanced settings at the bottom, and uncheck the Advanced Voice option. That should do the trick!
