Last year, I enabled a feature on my Windows 11 PC that dims inactive windows, which means only the active window remains bright. Initially, I thought it was a great feature, but now it's become a nuisance, especially when I want to multitask, like working while watching YouTube. I've been searching through the settings but can't find the option to disable this dimming effect. Can anyone guide me on how to turn this off?

Windows 11 doesn't actually have that dimming feature built in. It might be a third-party app that you're using, or it could be specific to your laptop brand. Are you on an HP laptop by any chance?
Just to clarify, it could be a feature of some third-party software you have installed. If you're using an Asus laptop, they sometimes have their own power management options that might be affecting this setting.
Here's a reference image that shows what you're dealing with. It might help identify if it's a specific setting you can turn off!
