How Should I Properly Deploy PowerShell Scripts in an Airgapped Environment?

Hey everyone! I work in environments that are airgapped and usually have two domain controllers along with a few workstations. We've developed some PowerShell scripts that serve official purposes but they are currently in .ps1 format along with some .bat files. I'm looking for the best practices on how to deploy these scripts into our live environment effectively. Should I consider converting them into modules? Is there a standard way to bundle these scripts along with their configuration files? Also, how can I handle outputs, like log files? I'd appreciate any recommended reading materials on this topic as well. Thanks!

I'd definitely suggest modulizing your scripts and digitally signing them. Then, deploy them to either a custom or the default module directory using WinRM or Group Policy, depending on what fits best for your setup.

Can you explain how deploying via GPO works? I'm curious if it can ensure that all workstations access the modules that the domain uses.
