I just reinstalled Windows on my new computer, and the place I live requires me to whitelist MAC addresses to access the Ethernet or WiFi. Now I'm stuck at the point where I need to connect to the internet, and I'm not sure how to find my MAC address in order to whitelist it. Can anyone help?

Have you thought about doing a local install? Sometimes that can simplify the process.
You can check out this guide for bypassing the Wi-Fi setup during Windows installation: https://superuser.com/questions/1882063/bypass-windows-11-wi-fi-setup-on-first-run. It shows how to access Command Prompt to find your MAC address while setting up. Pretty handy!
If you have access to an Ethernet port, consider using your own router. Connect it, whitelist the MAC address of your PC, and then clone its MAC address in the router settings. That way, any device connected to the router will have access!
This seems over complicated, I want my PC to be Ethernet anyways…

Didn’t know I could open Command Prompt during that stage! Can I run a command to view the MAC address?
