Hey everyone!
I'm looking for some guidance on optimizing my BIOS settings. I recently messed around in there and ended up having to revert to default settings. Now, my computer has been rebooting whenever I try to open any application. This isn't the first time I've dealt with power supply issues; previously, it was fixed by someone who built my PC.
Here are my specs:
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7600X 6-Core Processor at 4.70GHz
- RAM: 2x16GB Gskill 4800MT/s
- Motherboard: B650 EAGLE AX
Any tips on getting this sorted? Thanks in advance!

It sounds like you might still be having power issues. You should first check if your PSU (Power Supply Unit) is adequate. If your system is rebooting, it's possible that it's not delivering enough power to your components. I would recommend getting a power supply with higher wattage if necessary. Also, in the BIOS, unless you're really comfortable, stick to the defaults or just configure your RAM profiles like EXPO or DOCP before saving the settings and leaving it alone.
Make sure your PSU and GPU are compatible and providing enough power. If components are undervolted due to insufficient power, it can cause instability. Check your PSU specs; an 850W Seasonic is usually sufficient, but if there are any issues with it or the GPU (Founders Edition RTX 3080), that might be causing the problems. It's worth double-checking those connections.
