How to Transfer My SSD to a New Computer and Install Windows on My Old One?

I'm about to get a new computer and plan to give my old one to my cousin. I want to move my 4TB SSD that currently has Windows installed to the new PC, but I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed since I've never done this before. Also, would it be possible to put the SSD from the new computer into my old PC to install Windows there? I'm leaning towards doing a clean installation. Any advice would be appreciated!

Yes, you can definitely move that SSD to your new PC, and it should boot up without a hitch! However, keep in mind that doing a clean installation of Windows afterward is usually recommended for the best performance since it will help avoid any potential driver issues. Going fresh is always a good move!

I hear you! A clean reinstall sounds like a smart choice, especially since you're setting everything up for the first time.
