I'm currently running Windows 10 and planning to upgrade to Windows 11 on a new PC build. I'm planning to switch from an Intel setup to an AM5 motherboard, but I want to reuse my NVMe drive. Should I just move the NVMe to the new motherboard, install the necessary drivers, sort out my Windows license, and then perform a clean reinstallation of Windows?

Just to clarify, are you getting a new SSD or planning to stick with the same one for your upgrade?
It might be easiest to just grab a Windows USB and do a fresh install on your new system. It'll save you from potential issues down the line with drivers and compatibility.
I get that, but since I'm not using a new drive, I want to ensure I'm setting everything up properly on the same NVMe.

Yes, I'm definitely reusing my NVMe drive for this upgrade.
