I'm planning to build a watercooled PC and I have a Corsair 240mm radiator on hand. However, I'm a bit concerned because I'm aiming to use a 550W CPU. Will this radiator be sufficient, or should I consider getting a larger one?

Bigger radiators are generally better for high-performance CPUs, but a 240mm will still outperform a standard air cooler. Just keep in mind, it's not going to handle extreme setups very well. Maybe look into dual radiators?
Which CPU are you planning to use that pulls 550W? That's quite a power-hungry beast! If it's something like a high-end Xeon or a Threadripper, you might need more cooling power than a 240mm can provide. Just curious, are you planning to overclock it?
Probably a Xeon or Threadripper, both can get pretty hot if pushed hard.
Honestly, I don't think a 240mm radiator will be enough for a 550W CPU, especially under heavy loads. You may want to look at getting something bigger if you want to make sure it's adequately cooled.

Exactly! A lot of the 240mm AIOs struggle to keep up with the heat from powerful CPUs, especially when compared to air coolers like the Noctua NH-D15.
