I'm having a custom PC built with a Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU and an RX 9070 XT GPU. I initially selected 32GB of Klev Cras V RGB RAM at 6000MHz with CL30. However, the company notified me that they're out of stock and are switching me to 32GB of Corsair Vengeance RGB RAM at 6400MHz with CL36. From what I've gathered, the Klev Cras RAM would provide better latency, while the higher bandwidth of the Corsair RAM may not matter much since AM5 chips are regarded to work best at around 6000MHz. It feels to me like this is more of a downgrade than an upgrade. Am I on the right track, or am I overthinking this? Are the differences so small that they won't be noticeable?

You're correct in your assessment. The Corsair has a latency of 11.25 ns while the Klev Cras is at 10 ns, assuming they can run the Corsair kit at EXPO speeds. I think it's more of an alternative than an upgrade since both can perform well with the X3D chip. I also had that Klev kit for a build and it's super attractive when lit up!
Honestly, with the 9800X3D, RAM differences aren't huge for gaming. Just do a quick search for benchmarks online to see how minimal the performance impact really is.

I feel you on wanting what you paid for! It's frustrating when they swap out parts without notice, especially if you think it might look better too.
