Is It Safe to Test a New Power Cord While My PC is On?

Hey everyone! A few days ago, I discovered that the power cord that came with my RM750 PSU was faulty—it would cut power whenever I moved it. I bought a Digitus Assman power cord to replace it, but I'm a bit nervous about testing it. Can I safely wiggle the power cord while my PC is on to check if it's loose like the old one? I've heard that if the PSU is functioning properly, it shouldn't shut down if I don't pull the plug entirely, but I want to make sure I'm not risking frying my PSU in the process.

Before you wiggle away, make sure you’ve plugged the new cord in securely. It might take a good amount of force to get it in all the way. It's quite unlikely that the new power cord is faulty, so feel free to give it a test while your PC is on. Just be careful to avoid unplugging it completely!

I can assure you that the new cord definitely isn’t faulty like the old one. The previous cord was crackling and sensitive to movement. Just checking for stability while the PC is on should be fine; you won't fry your setup if it loses power momentarily.
