I just got my new 27-inch Acer monitor with 1440p resolution and 180Hz refresh rate, but the original power cable is too short. I bought a replacement power cable rated at 250V and 13A. Will using this different cable cause any problems?

If both cables are standard types, like NEMA 5-15P to C13, you should be in the clear. Just make sure the new power cable fits well!

As long as the new cable fits properly, it should work just fine. The main thing to check is the fuse size; the new one likely has a 13A fuse since it's for something like a kettle. You don’t want it to exceed the old one, which might be around 5A or 3A. If your new cable is from the UK and has a 13A fuse, it should be safe! No worries about it exploding your monitor! Haha.
