I'm considering whether I should upgrade my AMD Ryzen 5 5600G since I've been having some performance issues recently. My current setup is my first PC and is a budget build:

I primarily use my PC for writing and studying on Chrome, and I work with software like DBeaver and Visual Code, as I'm in my first year of computer science. I initially went for a lot of RAM because I was experiencing lag while running my code and using online software. My PC is about 2 years old and I use it with 4 monitors. Recently, Chrome has been freezing sporadically, so I'm wondering if I should upgrade my processor or if there's something else I should address first, like storage. If an upgrade is necessary, what mid-range processor would you recommend?

Do you happen to have an SSD? If not, that could really boost your system's performance and help it run smoother. Switching to an SSD makes a noticeable difference, especially if you're running out of space on your boot drive.
