Is it time to upgrade my PC or is it still good enough?

I've been using my PC for about five years, and I'm debating whether to upgrade or change some parts. Here are my specs: CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600G with Radeon Graphics, GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6600, Motherboard: X570 GAMING X, and I have 16 GB of RAM across two sticks. My GPU runs around 45 degrees Celsius at rest and goes up to about 70 degrees during gaming. I'm curious if my current setup can last a couple more years or if I should invest in a new one instead.

As long as you can play the games you want without issues, you're good! But if you start lagging or if the graphics aren't up to par, you might want to consider an upgrade. That build can definitely be improved!

If you're not satisfied with how things run, that’s a sign to look into upgrades, but don’t feel the need to upgrade just because your PC is five years old. Your temps are definitely fine.

You could swap your CPU for a cheap X3D chip, and that could boost your performance without needing a whole new build.

Honestly, it really depends on what you want. If you've got the budget and you're looking for better performance, then yeah, consider upgrading. But as for temperatures, yours are pretty normal, so no worries there.

If you want to enable Ray Tracing, think about upgrading to a better AMD 7000 series like the 7700 XT or 9000 series. And if you're looking for a CPU upgrade, the 5700X3D is a great option too!
