My 3070 crashed last week, and I'm trying to decide whether to upgrade to a 5070 or go for the 4070 Ti Super. I usually game at 1080p but might consider 1440p when I get a 9800xd. I mostly play AAA story-driven games. By the way, I'm not considering AMD since I do some productivity work as well.

Check out some GPU benchmarks on YouTube! They can really show you the differences in performance between the cards you're looking at. It's definitely worth seeing how each one stacks up in actual games.
There are tons of benchmarks and reviews online. The leap from a 3070 to a 5070 is pretty noticeable, especially for the price. But from my experience moving from a 3070 to a 3080 wasn't as massive of a change. Just take a look at the actual comparisons for what to expect!
