I'm building a new PC and considering a GPU upgrade from the 9060XT to the 5060Ti for $75. My CPU is a Ryzen 5 7500F, and I'm primarily targeting 1080p gaming. I've heard mixed things about the performance differences between AMD and Nvidia, and while I see the next best option (the 9070) requires a much larger investment of $241, I want to know if the 5060Ti upgrade is even worth it for the long haul of 3-5 years. Any advice or alternative suggestions would be greatly appreciated! I'm based in Asia.

I wouldn’t bother with the upgrade. Performance-wise, they’re pretty much identical, and if you don’t need CUDA specifically, the differences aren’t worth the cash.
If you're mainly gaming and don’t have a super demanding setup, the 9060XT is solid. Plus, AMD GPUs generally don’t have as much of a CPU overhead issue, so you should be good with the Ryzen 5 7500F.
You should save your money and invest in a 1440p monitor instead. That could really enhance your gaming experience without needing to upgrade your GPU just yet.
Honestly, your 9060XT should be good for the next five years for 1080p gaming. The 5060Ti has some extra features like MFG, but if you're only playing at 1080p, I'd say stick with the 9060XT for now.
While the 5060Ti is slightly better, the performance boost is minimal—like around 5%. Unless you have specific needs that the Nvidia card addresses, just keep your 9060XT.
