Is My 750W PSU Enough for a 9070XT?

I'm considering upgrading to a 2 x 8 pin 9070XT, but I want to make sure my power supply unit (PSU) can handle it. Currently, I have a Corsair RM750x, which is gold-rated, and it uses a daisy-chained 6+2 x 2 cable for the GPU. Right now, I'm running an RTX 3070 Ti. Will this setup be sufficient to power the 9070XT? Thanks for any insights!

I use a 9070XT with a similar PSU setup, and it runs perfectly! I'm on a 750W Corsair SF750 PSU, and my GPU pulls about 330W at full load without any issues.

I have the same PSU, and my 9070XT runs great with a 5600X! What kind of performance are you aiming for?

This will be my exact setup! How does it perform in your configuration? I'm looking to game at ultrawide 1440p.

It's advisable to use two separate 8-pin cables from the PSU instead of a daisy chain for better stability.

Thanks, I will try and source some new compatible cables!

Definitely avoid using a single daisy chain cable. For the 2x 8 pin model, you should use two dedicated cables.

Can I just buy two new cables? Is it safe to use Corsair cables with a Corsair PSU?

Didn't your PSU come with an extra 6+2 cable? How many GPU output sockets does it have?

I don't have the box anymore, unfortunately. I built my rig back in 2022 and have moved a couple of times since then. But I'm pretty sure there are extra sockets.
