Hey everyone, I wanted to get some feedback on my current PC build and whether it will hold up for the next few years. Unfortunately, I can't upgrade to AM5 at the moment, and with RAM prices soaring (plus shipping costs), I've had to work with what I have. Here's what I've got:
- **PSU**: bequiet! Straight Power 12 850W
- **Motherboard**: ROG Strix B550-F Gaming Wifi II
- **CPU**: Ryzen 7 5800XT
- **GPU**: RTX 5070 12GB
- **RAM**: 32GB (2x16) @ 3200 MT/s
- **Cooler**: CoolMaster V4 Alpha (similar to a Hyper 212 3DHP with dual fans)
- **Storage**: Two NVMe SSDs (512GB and 2TB) plus a 1TB HDD for files
- **Case**: Corsair 3000D
I'm currently using a 1080p 75Hz TN monitor but plan to upgrade to a 1440p 210Hz IPS monitor soon. I've noticed there's not much info on the 5800XT, and since I can't find the X3D where I live, I had to settle for this. I appreciate any thoughts you might have. Thanks for taking the time to check this out!

You’re in a great spot! AM4 is a fantastic platform, so enjoy your setup!
While the X3D would have been great, your build is definitely a good value and should serve you well for years! The jump to 1440p is a smart move—avoiding overshooting your setup is wise right now.
You seem to be missing something key... Your motherboard?
Your build sounds solid! It’ll last until you start feeling dissatisfied with your FPS. That’s a personal threshold only you can gauge.
Your rig looks awesome! Especially with a new monitor, you’re set to enjoy gaming on it.
Honestly, just jump into some games and enjoy! There's no need to stress about your PC's long-term performance right now.
I get that. It's tough not to worry, especially with how fast tech changes.

Oops, good catch! It's a ROG Strix B550-F. Just added it to the list!
