Hey everyone! I'm putting together my first PC for both gaming and music production. I made some changes to the parts I was originally suggested, particularly swapping the case and motherboard after seeing some issues others had. I'm looking for feedback on my current build to see if there are any major problems or things I might have overlooked. Also, I'm a bit over budget already, so any suggestions that fit my price range would be appreciated! Here's the list of parts I have:
- AMD Ryzen 7 7700X CPU
- Thermalright CPU Cooler
- Gigabyte B650 EAGLE AX Motherboard
- Crucial Pro 32 GB DDR5 RAM
- MSI SPATIUM 2 TB NVME SSD
- Sapphire PULSE Radeon RX 9060 XT Graphics Card
- be quiet! Pure Base ATX Case
- Rosewill 750 W Power Supply
- INNOCN 27" 1440p Monitor
The total comes to about $1528. Does everything look good?

I think your balance between CPU and GPU is fine. However, if you're mainly playing light games, you could consider switching to a 1080p monitor if you’re worried about performance. But generally, 1440p is good for your setup. Just be sure the games you play can handle that resolution without issues!

I'd suggest going with 6000 MHz RAM if you can. It tends to perform better with the Ryzen CPUs. Plus, for the power supply, Corsair or EVGA are usually good choices. Make sure your case has a full mesh front panel for better airflow, otherwise, I wouldn't recommend it. Also, that 9060 XT is decent, but for 1440p gaming, it might not be the best option available.

Thanks for the tips! I actually had some 6000 MHz RAM in mind, but it ran out of stock when I checked. Do you have any specific PSUs in the same price range you could recommend?

Don't worry too much about the RAM speed, especially if the 6000 MHz isn't available without breaking the bank. You might not notice much of a performance hit with the 5600 MHz. The case looks fine if it's got good airflow. For gaming, if you mainly play less intensive titles, the RX 9060 XT should hold up well, especially with that 27" screen. Just keep an eye out for any monitor settings to optimize your setup!
