I recently received a prebuilt PC and decided to take a look inside. I noticed that the support bracket for my GPU isn't securely holding it; there's about a 3-4mm gap between the GPU fan and the bracket. I'm concerned because I have a heavy RTX 5090 GPU, and even though there's no sagging (the card is perfectly at a 90° angle), I'm worried about potential issues with the bracket being so close to the fan. Can someone clarify if this is a problem, or is it okay as long as the fan isn't touching the bracket?

Honestly, if your GPU is seated correctly, the power cable is connected, and it’s not sagging, you shouldn't have any issues. The gap isn’t ideal, but as long as the fan isn’t making contact, you’re good to go. Just keep an eye on it for any changes.
You might want to reach out to the company you bought it from when you get the chance, but the setup sounds workable for now. Keeping a small gap is generally okay unless it starts to sag in the future. Just make sure the fans are functioning properly.
If you have access, check the GPU power cables and ensure they’re snug. The support bracket isn't doing its job if it's not holding the card securely, which might become a problem later. It's good that you don't see any sag now, but monitor it.
