Is My Hard Drive Recognized by My PC?

I'm having trouble updating Windows on my PC. Despite trying various solutions, nothing seems to work. In my BIOS, my boot option priorities list: "UEFI: PXE IPv4 Network Card", "UEFI: PXE IPv4 Realtek PCIe 2.5GBE Family Controller", and "Windows Boot Manager (WDC WDS 100T2B0C_00PXH0)". It looks like my PC is trying to boot from the network instead of the hard drive. Could this be causing my update issues? My system otherwise functions normally apart from this problem.

Your boot order has the WDC device listed first, so that's not the direct issue for updating. However, if your PC is older and doesn't support TPM 2.0, you won't be able to update. There are ways to bypass this! Using Rufus, you can create a Windows 11 USB installer that removes the TPM requirement, among others. Here’s how: Download Rufus, insert a USB, select the Windows 11 ISO, and check the options to remove the TPM and Secure Boot requirements. This is a straightforward method to get around the update block.

Actually, your hard drive is listed there, so it shouldn't be missing. Your PC will try to boot from the listed options in order. It’s unlikely you’re running a PXE server at home, so it should eventually boot from the hard drive if everything is working properly.

With that info, it sounds like you've made some progress. If TPM 2.0 is now recognized, that’s good, but if you're still seeing error code 0x8007041d during updates, a complete reinstall of Windows might be necessary. Booting from a USB might be the way to go.
