I've got a B450 motherboard with 32GB of DDR4 RAM and an AMD Ryzen 7 5700X processor. I'm looking to enhance my performance in Battlefield 6, but I've hit a snag. Even though my motherboard has an AM4 socket, the skyrocketing prices of RAM have squashed my upgrade plans for the next year. I considered going for the best AM4 CPU, the 5800X3D, but it seems like those are no longer available due to halted production. Now, I'm stuck between not upgrading at all or facing a massive 5x increase in RAM prices. Is there a way to upgrade without paying sky-high prices?

Keep in mind that your FPS is also influenced by your GPU. 32GB of RAM should be plenty for Battlefield 6, as long as the speed and latency are good. Your 5700X is still a solid performer.
You might want to look into getting a 5700X3D if you can find one, or hold out for some deals on DDR5. I got my DDR5 from eBay — still pricey, but cheaper than local stores.

I'm using a 4070 with mine, which keeps up pretty well, but my CPU definitely struggles at times. I see FPS between 70 and 110, depending on what's happening in-game — especially when there's a lot of smoke around.
