I've been playing Total War: Warhammer 3 and noticed that my RTX 3080 Ti hits around 87°C to 89°C while gaming at 4K. I've done some research and it seems like this temperature is a bit high for a 3080 Ti. I've been using the card for nearly two years now, and I'm hoping to keep it for at least another two years. I usually game for about 3-4 hours daily and also do around 5-6 hours of 3D rendering, where it reaches 84°C to 85°C. During the night, the temperature drops by about 3-4°C. Should I be worried about this temperature in the long run?

Yeah, high temperatures can be tough on your GPU! You might want to consider capping the FPS a bit. This lowers the load without affecting your graphics settings too much.
Think about replacing the thermal paste if you haven't done it yet! Also, what's your hotspot temperature? That might give us more insight.
I'm honestly surprised it hasn't shut down due to those temps. But remember, Nvidia says 93°C is the max temp limit for the 3080 Ti. You're close, but it sounds like you're just hitting thermal throttling, not shutdown.

Isn't 93°C the max limit for the 3080 Ti? So I should be fine, right?
