Hey everyone! I recently built my gaming PC (you can check the parts here: [PcPartPicker](https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/4ywxqR)). However, I've noticed that while playing games like Planetside 2 and CoD: Warzone, my CPU temperature skyrockets from 48°C to 85°C in just 10 seconds during intense gameplay, especially in certain parts like loading or intros. When the PC is idle, the CPU temp sits at around 50°C. I did apply thermal paste and installed the fan correctly, with the fan facing the front of the case. My setup is super quiet, but these temperatures are concerning. Should I consider getting a better Thermalright fan, or could I use my Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE if it fits? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Honestly, for a 7600X, those temps aren't too crazy. Most people consider temps up to 85°C during heavy loads acceptable. Just make sure to keep an eye on it, but you shouldn't panic just yet!
Your Thermalright Assassin Spirit EVO is one of the best 120mm air coolers out there. It's known for performing really well, often outperforming some 240mm AIOs under certain conditions. You’re probably fine, but if you're still worried, the Peerless Assassin can be a solid option if it fits!
What's the ideal idle temp we should be looking for, though? I’ve heard mixed things, like is 90°C too high for idle?
