Is Now a Good Time to Build a PC with a €1500 Budget?

I've been dreaming of building a decent PC for ages, and now that I've got a job, I've saved up about €1500. But I've heard conflicting opinions on whether now is the right time to make this investment. Should I go ahead and buy a PC now, or would it be wiser to wait until later, like in December? I don't want to spend that much money and end up regretting my decision.

Honestly, it might be better to grab a prebuilt right now since prices can fluctuate quite a bit. Just make sure to look around for the best deals. A prebuilt can offer a good value, depending on what you're after.

If you can, try to find that sweet spot in your budget. Spend smartly on a good GPU and a decent CPU; make sure it’s something that can last a few years. Just be cautious with prebuilts, as they often use lower quality parts.

It’s not the best time to build, especially with current prices being high for components like RAM. You might find better options if you wait a bit, but I'd minimize costs by aiming for a reliable machine that fits your needs without going overboard.

I bought my prebuild last year and the same setup is now 40% more expensive. You really need to consider how long you could wait—if you think prices will drop soon, it might be worth holding off. But if you find the right deal now, it may not be a bad idea either.

The current price trend is tough to predict—RAM and SSDs are still pricier than they used to be. Keep an eye on how the market shifts, but don’t delay your build too long if you really need a PC now!
