I've had my Xbox Series X plugged directly into the wall for over two years without any issues, as I live in an area with a stable power grid. However, I've recently added some new devices and started to worry about how sensitive they might be to power surges. Do I really need a surge protector if my power supply seems reliable?

I definitely think a surge protector is a good idea, even if your power grid is stable. Surges can come from other appliances in your home too. For instance, my mini fridge took out my TV a couple of years ago – it was a costly mistake!
It can't hurt to be safe. Power surges can happen unexpectedly, so better to be prepared!
Always better to be safe than sorry! Just get one.
For just 12 bucks, it's not worth the risk to skip a surge protector. You could save your Xbox or any other device from potential damage. Why take the chance?
Honestly, you might not have issues without one, but if a surge does happen, you'll regret not having a protector. They can save you from losing everything if something unexpected occurs!
Totally! It’s not just about the external power grid; other devices can mess things up.
