Hey everyone! I've been diving deep into the specs and options for my new build and I'm kind of stuck between the Ryzen 5700X and the 5700X3D. I've found the 5700X for about £90 and the 5700X3D for around £180. My main focus is playing CS2, but I also want to enjoy some AAA titles. I'm trying not to go overboard with my budget, so could someone help me understand how much of a difference the 5700X3D makes? Thanks in advance!

You can definitely go with the 5700X for your setup, especially with the 5060Ti. However, if you're considering upgrading to a GPU like the 5070 in the future, the X3D might be the better option to avoid bottlenecks later on.

Sounds good! I'll probably stick with the 5700X then, thanks for the advice!

Honestly, if you’re debating over the 5700X3D, you might want to consider going for an AM5 setup instead. If that's not in your budget, just stick with the 5700 or even the 5600.

I'm upgrading from an older CPU, so moving to AM5 would cost me a lot more than I want to spend right now.

If you're planning to play games like Rust or Tarkov, I’d recommend the 5700X3D. It's great for 0.1% and 1% lows in games like Apex too, which can really enhance your experience.

I don’t really play those games, so I think the 5700X is a better fit for what I enjoy.
