Hey everyone! I recently got my hands on the i7 12700KF, and I'm looking at the Gigabyte B760M Gaming Plus WiFi DDR4 motherboard. I don't care about overclocking, so I'm wondering if this motherboard is good enough for my CPU. Just to clarify, I already have the RAM, and I'm not planning to switch to DDR5. I'm mainly looking to game on low to medium settings at 1080p, aiming for around 120-144fps. Would this board be a solid choice?

The B760M should work just fine with your i7 12700KF since it's LGA 1700, which is what your CPU needs. Just make sure it has enough USB, SATA ports, and NVMe support for your setup. It's a solid choice for your requirements, and honestly, you may find that non-K CPUs can sometimes cost more than K versions anyway.
I actually do have the RAM sorted, so I'm all set there. I'm not looking to fork out for new DDR5 RAM; I just want something that can handle most games on lower settings.
Hey, quick question: do you already have your RAM picked out? If you're starting from scratch, it might be worth considering DDR5 boards. But since you mentioned you already have RAM, sticking with DDR4 makes sense and saves you some hassle.
