I'm currently using an R5 5600X, and I've been noticing some performance issues in games like Battlefield 6 and Fortnite, such as pop-ins and frame drops. I'm considering upgrading my CPU but want something reasonably priced, so I'm looking at the Ryzen 7 5700X. Will this CPU work well with my RTX 5070 at 1440p, or will it still bottleneck my GPU?

Upgrading to the 5700X shouldn't bottleneck your GPU at all, especially since you're running 1440p. At higher resolutions, the CPU's impact on performance decreases, and most users find the 5700X is still a solid choice for gaming without a noticeable drop in frames. Many people with a 5600X report that it doesn't bottleneck even the 5070, so you'll be fine!

That sounds good! I’ve had similar issues with frames dropping in Battlefield, but I’m hoping RAM could be the culprit. Do you think adding another 8GB to make it 32GB could help?
