I'm looking for some guidance on a part list I created on PCPartPicker. I want to know if I've made good choices or bad ones, and I have a question about the various Windows operating system options. Why are there so many? What do terms like Windows Home, Windows Pro, OEM, and the different installation formats (DVD vs. USB) mean? Here's the part list I put together:
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600 3.5 GHz 6-Core Processor
- CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Black Edition 42 CFM CPU Cooler
- Motherboard: Gigabyte B550M GAMING X WIFI6 Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard
- Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3000 CL16 Memory
- Storage: Kingston NV3 1 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive
- GPU: MSI GeForce RTX 3060 Ventus 2X 12G GeForce RTX 3060 12GB Video Card
- Case: Montech AIR 100 ARGB MicroATX Mid Tower Case
- PSU: Rosewill VSB 650 W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-modular ATX Power Supply

I wouldn't go for the Cooler Master Hyper 212 anymore. It’s been a while since it was top-notch. I recommend checking out some recent CPU cooler comparisons on YouTube; Gamers Nexus just released an updated video that might help. Also, what's the price on that RTX 3060? I've spotted some used ones on eBay for around $70, which seems like a great deal if you're considering NVIDIA.

I haven’t bought anything yet! This list is just for feedback. The RTX 3060 is $269.99 on Amazon right now.
