Hey everyone! I'm a newbie PC builder and I'm curious if the Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE V3 cooler is sufficient for cooling a Ryzen 7600X3D. Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

I use the TR Phantom Spirit on my Ryzen 9 7900X3D, and it performs decently. Under gaming loads, I see temps around 65°C, and even under heavy stress, it doesn't exceed 80°C. So for the 7600X3D, you're good with the SE V3! Just remember, these X3D CPUs have a tendency to run hot.

If you're looking for alternatives, consider the Phantom Spirit 120. While both are similar, the Phantom Spirit is the updated version and might offer slightly better performance. However, the V3 you have is already a solid cooler.

From my experience, the Phantom Spirit 120 works great, and if the non-SE version of the Peerless Assassin is cheaper, it could be a good choice since they say it has better fans. Just a thought!

Absolutely, the Peerless Assassin 120 SE V3 should keep a 7600X3D cool without any issues! Some users even mentioned that it can handle the 7800X3D, so you're in good hands here.
