I've got a PC with the following specs: AMD Ryzen 5 5600G processor, 16 GB of DDR4 RAM, 1 TB NVMe SSD, Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 graphics card, and it's running Windows 11 Home. I plan to use it primarily for recording gameplay from my PS5 using a capture card, and I expect to do some basic editing as well. The whole setup cost me around 850 euros. I'm curious if this PC is a good fit for my needs and if the price is reasonable for these specs.

I recommend considering an upgrade to a Ryzen 7 if you have the budget, as well as bumping up to 32 GB of RAM. This would give you more headroom for multitasking and heavier editing.

But the 5600G should work fine for what you need at first!

I’ll keep that in mind for the future! Right now, I'm just looking for something to get started.

This setup should work fine for recording PS5 gameplay and doing basic edits. The Ryzen 5 and RTX 4060 are decent performers, so you're in a good spot for what you want to achieve. It's not the best deal you could get, but for 850 euros, it's a reasonable start!

Yeah, as long as it gets the job done, I'm happy!

Thanks for confirming! I'm glad it's acceptable for my needs.
