Issues Downloading Files in Firefox and Chrome

I'm having trouble downloading files using Firefox, as it keeps saying that the download has failed. I decided to try downloading in Chrome instead, but it shows a 'storage full' error. I've been reading that it might be necessary to edit temp files, but I'm concerned this could affect other programs that also rely on those files. I do have some space left on my drive, enough for the small file I'm trying to download. Furthermore, after checking my storage, I realized I have less space than I initially thought. How can I change my temp folder to a different drive that has more space? Thanks for any help!

You can safely delete everything in the temp folder. It's meant for temporary files, and if any of them are necessary, they'll be recreated. Just remember to empty your recycle bin afterward to free up space.

Is it really just as simple as that, or do I need to uninstall some other stuff on my drive too?

I tried clearing out the temp folder and moved files I didn’t need, but nothing changed. Should I focus on adjusting the temp drive instead?

To change the temp folder to another drive, you can open the command line and run 'winget install Mozilla.Firefox'. This lets you set a new installation path for your temp files while keeping your installations organized.

Do I need to execute this in the command prompt? What exactly does this command do?
