I'm experiencing a strange problem with Apple Music on my 2022 M2 MacBook Air running Sequoia 15.6.1. Even though I have an Apple Music account, iTunes won't play most of my tracks from the service. It will only play some random songs that I own and have stored in iCloud via iTunes Match. For some reason, only a few tracks from my iTunes Match are accessible, and they seem to be completely random—like it might play the first song of an album, but none of the others.
Interestingly, any music samples from the iTunes Store play perfectly fine. I made sure it's not a network issue since I can use FaceTime, WhatsApp, browse websites, and stream music from YouTube without problems. I've already gone through a few troubleshooting steps like restarting the app and my MacBook, and signing out and back into my Apple Music account. Anyone have any suggestions to fix this?
(Just a heads up, I know it's officially called Apple Music now, but I still refer to it as iTunes sometimes.)

Just to clarify, iTunes isn't designed to work post-macOS 10.13 anymore. You should really try switching over to the Apple Music app instead. It can be a little quirky, but it usually functions okay once you get it set up right.
I totally get what you're going through! I've had the same issues on my iPhone. It seems like some settings might be off, or there could be a minor bug with how the app interacts with your music library.
I checked the Apple service page and it shows that Apple Music is up and running without any issues.

No worries! I still mix up the names too. It's a hard habit to break!
