Issues with Email Delivery Using Cisco Email Security

For the past six months, we've been facing some serious email delivery problems with certain types of messages, including automated notifications, account reset emails, and secure email code notifications. Initially, it affected a couple of domains, but now it's over a dozen. We've been using Cisco Email Security for about five years without any issues, but something changed six months ago. Our MX records point directly to Cisco's Email Security servers, and there's nothing in the logs showing these messages weren't delivered. Cisco Support claims the problem is on the sending organizations' end. Has anyone else run into similar delivery troubles with Cisco Email Security? Just to be clear, the emails in question come from outside organizations trying to reach us.

It's crucial to note that MX records are only for incoming mail, and just because they point to Cisco's servers doesn’t mean outgoing mail is working correctly. Make sure you have SPF, DKIM, and DMARC correctly set up for all your sending domains. Especially for bulk emails, you need to ensure compliance with all regulations, including an unsubscribe link.

Are you sure those incoming emails aren’t showing in your logs at all? If they aren’t even appearing as rejected connections, it raises some questions. We've faced similar issues due to SPF, DKIM, and DMARC misconfigurations, especially when changing mailing services. Have you made any recent changes to your SPF record that could affect deliveries?
