Laptop Battery Stuck at 0% After Long Disuse

I accidentally left my laptop closed and running since December 22nd, and just noticed today that the battery is stuck at 0%. Initially, I saw it was at 7% after a few hours of use, but even after streaming for a bit, it hasn't changed. My battery reports indicate it's in good health, but I really need some advice on what to do next. Any help would be appreciated!

How old is your laptop? Knowing its age can help determine if it’s just a battery issue or something more.

Have you considered calibrating the battery in the BIOS? It might reset the settings and fix the issue.

You might want to try letting it charge overnight and see if that helps. Sometimes leaving it plugged in for an extended period can kickstart the battery back to life.

This could be a firmware issue with your battery controller after a deep discharge, not necessarily a battery health problem. To reset it, unplug the charger and shut down your laptop. Then, press and hold the power button for 60 seconds. After that, plug in the charger without turning the laptop on and let it charge undisturbed for 3-4 hours before powering it on. This process often helps recalibrate the controller.
