I'm thinking about upgrading from my GTX 1660 and had my eye on the RTX 5060 priced at around $300. I've seen some negative feedback regarding its 8GB VRAM, but since I mainly play Overwatch and Valheim (my current GPU crashes during play), I'm wondering if it's really a deal-breaker. Are there any better suggestions or alternatives I should consider?

If you're not planning to get a 16GB GPU, maybe consider purchasing a used card instead. It might save you some cash while still providing good performance.
I see your point about getting a used 16GB GPU for more demanding games or if you plan on upgrading to a 1440p monitor. However, if you're upgrading from the 1660, you might want to save for a full PC upgrade soon, which means a new GPU could be a better fit for the future.
