Hey everyone! I've just wrapped up my second year in a Computer Science degree, focusing on Cloud Computing, and I'm starting to think about my future career. I'm curious about what types of roles I should aim for in AWS or cloud computing and how I can prepare effectively. For some context, I've worked on a few projects but haven't had the chance to dive into cloud-related work yet. Currently, I'm interning as an SDET-QA at a well-known company, and I'm hoping to gain some cloud experience while I'm there. I'd really appreciate any insights or advice on how to navigate my career path in this area. Thanks a ton!

It's a bit broad, but the first step is to determine what type of job you want. Try thinking through the various cloud roles and what interests you. If you're uncertain, take some time to research and look at job descriptions to understand what's out there.
If your goal is to focus mostly on cloud and infrastructure rather than application development, consider looking into SRE positions. I started there and eventually transitioned into DevOps after gaining a few years of experience.
Are you genuinely interested in cloud technologies? If so, roles like DevOps, Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), Data Engineer, or Software Engineer could be great fits. In today's job market, pursuing something cloud-related is definitely a safe bet.
