I'm putting together a new PC and I'm looking for a GPU that fits my budget of $535 to $550. I'm aiming for 1440p performance to pair with my Ryzen 5 9600X. Any recommendations?

I personally have an RTX 5070 and it works great for 1440p gaming! It handles everything smoothly. Just a heads up though, some also mention the 9070 and 9070 XT, but you might want to check reviews as DLSS 4 performs really well. I've been able to play maxed out graphics without any visible issues.
You should be able to find an RTX 5070 around $550, which would be a solid choice for your setup. Some people suggest saving a bit more for the RTX 9070 if you can stretch the budget, since it comes with better performance and 16GB of VRAM, which could help it age better in the long run.
The RX 7800 XT is the cheapest I’d recommend for 1440p, but it's around $600 now. The RTX 5070 or RX 9070 are also good options but at a slightly higher price point, closer to $650. If you're playing more demanding games, I wouldn’t recommend the RTX 5060 Ti or RX 9060 XT, as they’re more suited for 1080p gaming. Perhaps consider cutting costs elsewhere in your build to bump up your GPU budget?
Thanks for the insight! DLSS 4 sounds promising, I’ll look into it.
