We were planning to switch from VMware and refresh our hardware, but Nutanix just hit us with a shocking 75% price increase just one day before our quote expired, which has derailed our plans. I was really excited about directly handling purchasing and support for our international offices through Nutanix rather than going through regional vendor support like we currently do with Dell. Now I'm on the lookout for other hyperconverged providers that can offer good international support and reasonable pricing before prices start climbing again. Hyper-V is a consideration, but I prefer a comprehensive solution that covers all our needs.

Have you thought about Proxmox with Ceph storage? I use Proxmox and find it really solid for virtualization tasks.
I'd also recommend Scale Computing! They've been particularly solid for various governmental bodies; their support and reliability are commendable.
We're checking out Dell combined with Canonical Managed OpenStack right now. The initial signs look promising, though we haven't received all our quotes yet.
You might want to consider Azure's local/HCI solutions. Just keep in mind, that's essentially Hyper-V under the hood, but it can offer some additional management benefits.
Hyper-V could be a good choice too. I'm currently testing a three-node failover cluster, and it seems to be working smoothly. I'm looking into enabling Storage Spaces Direct soon, which should enhance performance with NVMe drives.
Check out Scale Computing! We've implemented it for a client, and the setup was super smooth. It's user-friendly, especially for smaller setups, which can make a big difference.
I totally agree, Scale Computing has been great for us too. We've had zero issues since moving over.
I’ve heard mixed reviews; some love it while others had bad experiences. It really depends on your needs.

Proxmox is great! Love its ease of use and flexibility.
