Looking for NAS Solutions for a Local SIEM Setup

Hey everyone! I'm setting up a local Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) system using open-source Wazuh in an enterprise setting. I'm in search of a NAS solution that can store around 100-150 terabytes of log data. I plan to connect it to a 1-2U server. Has anyone deployed something similar? Are there any particular issues or considerations I should be aware of before making a purchase? Thanks in advance!

Yeah, especially if you need to hold those logs for about six months. Just be sure that whatever NAS you choose can handle the load—you don’t want to run into performance issues later on!

Wow, that's a huge amount of logs! I don’t have direct experience with Synology for this task, but I’d imagine it could be quite the challenge to query such large datasets from there.
